Thanks for visiting my Blog. This blog is a platform to all the devotees in the world who would like to discover India and know about Indian Culture. I have tried my level best to add those things which will show you the true face of India and its people. I would like you to comment on what you liked and what you did not so that I can make it more interesting.
About me:
My name is Parin Mehta. I am born on 5th May, 1982 in a small village named Maska in Kutch District in Gujarat State in India. Since my father was Mumbai (Bombay) born and his family was there, after my birth, I was born and brought up there. I was born in Hindu-Brahmin family and we are pure vegeterian and we follow Hindusim. We follow Swaminarayan sect which has Akshar-Purushottam Upasana (God and his devotee way). We dont use Onion and Garlic as said No by Lord Swaminarayan in his Holy scripture "Siksha patri" which guides our way of living.
My family consists of My father, who has got his own business of paper box mfg, My mother, who is a housemaker, My younger brother, last year graduate student in Mumbai.
I have done my graduation in commerce and then diploma in business management. Currently working in Nomura Services (Previously Lehman Brothers) in Mumbai, into Equities and Derivatives profile.
I love to teach, sing and listen to Indian classical songs. I also love to discover new places and traveling. I love to cook food and try different veg dishes. I love to take part in political debates and i try to keep update on National news.
I make sure that i attend our weekly youth meetings and spiritual conferences in our temple on Saturdays and Sundays to nuture my self to reach close to God Swaminarayan.
